Matthew Ktsanes Promoted to Maintenance, Fleet and Transportation Manager at Taylor Machine Works

Matthew is the son of Jim and Teresa Taylor Ktsanes and a proud member of the fourth generation of the Taylor family. His promotion reflects the company’s continued commitment to building future leadership from within and honoring the family legacy that has guided the business for nearly a century.

Matthew began his tenure with the company at an early age, working at Quail Ridge Conference Center, assisting with meal prep, facility maintenance, and guided hunts. As he grew within the organization, he completed multiple summer internships, including time in the Maintenance Department, the Industrial Engineering Group, and the Remanufacturing Division.

After graduating from Mississippi State University in 2024 with a Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Matthew joined the company full-time as Supervisor for the X-Line Production, where he quickly demonstrated strong leadership and operational understanding.

In his new role as Maintenance, Fleet and Transportation Manager, Matthew will report to the Director of Operations and oversee fleet logistics, equipment maintenance programs, and transportation operations—all critical components of Taylor’s manufacturing success.

“I am pleased to announce the promotion of Matthew Ktsanes. With Matthew’s background in industrial technology and Maintenance, he is the perfect fit for this position,” said Zach Taylor, Director of Operations at Taylor Machine Works. “Matthew puts his head down and gets after it, and always has a great attitude no matter what he’s dealing with. I think anyone can take notes from that. I’m so excited for this guy, and I look forward to watching the development of his bright future.”
