Thad Yarbrough Promoted to Material Handling Supervisor at Taylor Machine Works

Taylor Machine Works is excited to announce the promotion of Thad Yarbrough to the position of Material Handling Supervisor. Zach Taylor, the Director of Operations, expressed his enthusiasm for Thad’s promotion, stating,”I am pleased to announce the promotion of Mr. Thad Yarbrough. Thad started with Taylor in 1992 and has worked in almost every facility since then. Thad will be responsible for overseeing our front-end assembly and coordinating the plant material handlers. Thad has been amazing to work with, and I look forward to seeing the improvements he makes.”

Yarbrough’s career at Taylor spans over three decades, beginning in 1992 as a sander. Throughout the years, he has held various roles within the company, including positions in the machine shop, line assembly, remanufacturing, transportation, inspection at the paint shop, parts inspection with Taylor Logistics, and supervisory roles on both the night and day shifts. His extensive experience encompasses nearly every aspect of Taylor’s operations, providing him with a comprehensive understanding of the company’s work and culture.

“I would like to thank the Taylor Company for giving me the opportunity to do this job that I really enjoy,” said Yarbrough. “My dad and two brothers worked here also. Taylor has always been a very big part of my life as well as my family’s.”

Above all, Yarbrough credits his success and blessings to his faith, saying, “Most of all I love my Lord and Savior because without Him none of this would even be possible.”
