TAYLOR INTERNATIONAL OPENS CONTINENTAL DISTRIBUTION CENTER IN COLÓN, PANAMA

COLÓN CITY, Panama — Taylor International has opened its Continental Distribution Center, operated by Taylor Americas S.A. in Colón City, Panama. Located at the crossroads of the Americas, the center gives Taylor a strategic base for distributing parts, equipment and responding to customers in the Americas.

Our CEO, Lex Taylor, of The Taylor Group Companies, traveled from Louisville, Mississippi, to lead the opening ceremony alongside the Taylor International team, dealers and guests. The program included a ribbon cutting and a guided tour of the warehouse.

For customers, the benefit is uptime. Panama connects the world’s major shipping routes, and from Colón Taylor can ship parts and equipment faster, shorten delivery times and respond quickly to service needs. That keeps forklifts, container handlers and reach stackers working in ports, terminals and industrial operations across the continent.

The Continental Distribution Center joins Taylor Americas direct locations in Mexico and Colombia. It operates under the same standards as Taylor Machine Works, the family-owned company that has designed, engineered and built heavy-duty material handling equipment in Louisville, Mississippi, since 1927.
